River Cafè is a small restaurant and wine bar on the rivers edge – where you and your friends can sit and enjoy yourselves, sharing fine wine and relax while looking out over the dam.

Our aim was to create an unconventional meeting place that both inspired and relaxed.

A place which people of all ages, cultures and walks of life can enjoy.

We don’t believe in selling our souls to large companies in exchange for free umbrellas and ice buckets, resulting in the boring menus you see all over town. Instead we believe in offering you a wide, sometimes unusual, but interesting choice in food and drink.
Currently we have a range of 45 beers and the largest wine list in town including organic boutique and garagiste wines. We are open from noon with last rounds at ten at night, Monday to Saturday. Sorry, no large groups and no children after dark.
